Cowgirl editing

In preparation for filming our Final Music Video, we carried out a preliminary task to practice the synchronizing of lip syncing with the lyrics. It also gave us the chance to experiment with jump cutting between only a few shots to create a lot of variation within and throughout a video. We began by adding a base video that syncs throughout the whole song. We the had two other videos consisting of a verse and a chorus. We then experimented with adding and cutting the three videos to make it interesting. This task has prepared us very well for our proper music video because it has allowed us to familiarise ourselves with the techniques used in music video making, it has also shown us mistakes made within the video and we are now aware of how to avoid making them, such as out of time lip syncing.

The image below showed how we have added a track over the base track, then cut it so jumps between the two clips.
